Jessi Is Back
First off, not that i's a huge thing, but my absence has been quite long. And I've no excuse but my own selfishness, and inability to deicide what I want. But that shall be no more. But back to business, how I over looked something like this I'll never know. Jessi recently released her new album and I almost missed it. The whole thing has her written all over it, from the title song talking about how everything is all good, and she made to where she was on her own. And that's a damn good accomplishment.
The opening from the title song is very good, the eat kicks in nicely; but I'm not so sold on the chorus. For me it breaks it up a little but it's still a song I'd bust out during a house party of similarly minded peers. The song that really touched me, is the last song. Arrived, was put together beautifully. The lyrics though not as eloquent; still get the message across that she's back and here to stay.
Out of everything I give it 4/5 cherries.
Let It Die Is [Really] Addictive
Let It Die is a free to play game current on PS4 exclusively, though it's no secret that the comedic hack & slash, RPG, Dead Soul mix. The game sets it up real quick that your goal is to get up the tower. I, myself have made it 16 floors currently.
The game itself it's not too hard, but it does have a few challenges along the way. There a few mini-bosses that definitely teach you early on to make the most of not only your surroundings but your inventory as well. Even the different fighters that are available to you, have a specialty that makes climbing the tower floors easy or hard. The art is amazing, very punk and rock style. Soundtrack wise, it's a full roster of J-Pop, J-Rock, and Alternative that gets your feet tapping as you spend time in your safe haven getting your gear together. The music also helps lighten the mood in between the creepy ambience and listening for key sounds to let you know when a hunter, another player's fighter; a hater, another player's dead fighter, and the Jakals.
This game gets me on the edge of my seat every time I'm traversing the tower and I her the battle cry of a hunter coming for me the butt clenching starts; and I love it. I think I'll be playing this game for a long time to come.
If you're a fan of action, hack & slashes that's free, definitely download it and give it a try. Bonus perk if you're already set up with PlayStation Plus, you get a free starter pack an I advise saving those rainbow skulls aka Death Metal; it's a big help.
