No it isn’t some cheesy romantic, comedy, school life bull, it’s an action packed, slightly romantic, old Japan martial arts anime. I gave it a 10 out 10, if that were my scale [it’s mostly done on a 5 scale].
Honestly I don’t know what draws me to this anime. For some odd reason [adult swim]’s Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit is way addicting. Maybe it’s the main characters; the strong never giver-upper Balsa [to the far left], the prince she protects, Moribito, the ninja trackers [men with swords to the lright] trying to kill her and the prince she protects. It’s really hard to tell with the intense story line and fighting scenes, seriously why would anyone want this as a favorite.
I don’t know why the whole Prince has a water spirit egg inside him, that the king calls a demon, sentencing him to death, forcing his wife, the queen, to pay Balsa to protect her youngest son, attracts me. The whole thing is addicting, sure it may seem a bit slow at first but the story is so well written with such amazing characters; I don’t know but it’s a must see. If you don’t see it your stupid and dumber than ya’ look. Why do you think it’s on? It was meant to be seen by the thousands. See it then tell me it isn’t a must see.
Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit is currently my favorite because of its awesome story line, attractive characters, and even more amazing art.
